WHAT IS THE PDS?
It is the Personalized Dosing System (PDS) of Medicines, it is an aid to the patient that allows him to continue his treatment, organizing his medication for days and takes for a certain time.
The current patient profile within the PDS program is: over 55 years, with chronic polymedicated diseases (3 and 4 drugs or more), some of them follow an irregular dosage and with a caregiver or family member.
WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF SPD?
The inclusion of SPD means a very significant increase in the rate of compliance with treatments, reaching 80% compared to 31% that was achieved with traditional dispensing, directly affecting the decrease in expenditure generated by therapeutic non-compliance.
